You should be able to repaint them. I repainted all the grey parts on my 90 with dash paint.

I had to do it this way since I have an auto trans and not much room. This was my only option. I had to keep the cats closest to the headers to get them hot so they work.

It's an Autolite from Kragen. I have had good luck with remanned parts from Kragen/Advance Auto in the past... we shall see.

It was holding voltage VERY well. Even under transitional loading.

You're working late I see.

You know how our Vettes sound? Great right. On the voltvette, they use a recording and a loud speaker.

Intereting, wonder why the throttle response would feel soggy? The 300-36 street dominator is a good D.P. Not real hip to F.I. Efi setups but that looks like something I could upgrade to one day on the 67.

Curious to hear more on this build

The street-dominator is a single plane. I have some pics if you want specifics. Had an oil fill in the front, etc.

I think the current in production unit is a dual plane. The one I had was cast sometime 20 years ago ;) They often pop up on ebay for $50.

The soggy trottle was on the holley 9901-101-1 with the 4bbl throttle body. I think it had to do with the progressive 4bbl. Who knows for sure.

Top speed of 40 MPH, uh not for me. He said he could get it to 800 HP but it would require 40 MORE batterys, then why even say it could go that high? You could not fit 40 batterys in the vette in the first place! Anyway, it would be cool to see one like this built for the track with 800 HP. I hear the electrics take off like rockets when powered to the max.

hi guys again,
i recently purchased & installed drm(doug rippie motor sport) moded new rear camber brackets and rear control arm brackets.
this is where all the bolt hole locations and desgin are different apparenlty to help in getting the power to the ground and help in handling better so they reackon.
now that it is all fitted and i have adjusted the longer rear spring bolts further down to the end of the threads both side and i have driven some time on them to get the spring/ride to settle, the darn thing still sits high,iv got drm adjustable coil overs on front.
i used to be able to lower the rear to sit just above the tyres, not now i cant!!!
what could be wrong or is the problem guys please ???
any ideas???
cheers
glen

I think it was a SPL-30x for the halfshafts.

Or a 5-800x if they turn out to be discontinued.

I would say it depends on MAF vs. MAP as well. MAF has the advantage of more directly measuring airflow.

Sounds like a Mexican mouse.
BTW, I feel your pain. The first year I had my car, I found a rat (not a mouse) was living in our garage, and was sleeping on my intake, or at least using it as aplace to potty. I was lucky to get him before he did any damage.

Good Luck, Randy

Here's the end on my '85 front line.

I recall the end of the rubber line matches your description. I want to say it's a female 10mm flare fitting. (not inverted flare, which sounds like what they sent you).

The steel line fitting looked the same as the brake lines at the master cylinder do.

Whenever mods are installed that are going to require you to add additional fuel.

Or install a modification that require different parameters to run than stock, IE larger injectors.

Thats the simple answer anyway
