Pewter is a control freak and on a power trip, gives cops a bad name.

I actually PM'ed the mods to close it.

It was attracting a lot of trolls.

Some real serious pychos.

That thread was doing NOTHING for the C4 section at all.

Pewter is the guy that perma banned me. We exchanged a few emails on my way out. I don't know the man personally, but my impression of him based on his replies, (which were laced with sarcasm and condescention), is that he's a raging a-hole.

Don't know how the C5 and C6 sections are doing at CF, but I can tell you, the C4 section is on a not so slow march to suck-ville.

You just have to buy a membership on CF and it takes a shit load to get banned ive been in so many arguments it's not even funny and never one warning.

They did get on me however for posting a group buy!

I agree with Pewter on the "get a hobby" comment, but as an admin, he should know better than to say that.

And it's hypocritical too, because CF admins/mods routinely checked comments on other forums. So I guess that puts you on their shitlist Hokies!

CF was initially owned by an fellow Corvette enthusiast. However, this forum was later purchased by a consortium of vendors; HR being one now as well, apparently. When that happened, it was no longer "our house", but "your house". Were it still our CF forum, you would be considered the rude, crude, newcomer, tracking mud on the carpet and be invited to leave!!

But, now it's your house and you can do as you please. You can let old garbage pile up and stinking in the living room, leave your dirty underwear lying on the floor for all to see... Don't think that the lifetime membership protects you.

From what I have heard, those with such memberships have been banned AND denied refunds.

Then again, I have also heard that those banned are getting refunds if their lawyer sends a nasty gram... So I am not sure what all is really happening.

All I do know is that lifetime members are getting banned.

Oh, well... I think this thread has lived long enough.

I don't want CG to get a rep of being a bash site.

At the same time, I do want the members to be able to vent their frustrations from time to time. So I allow these to run their course.
