Good morning my friends. Good morning to those who may hate me too. One thing I have to admit about the compliance officers warning yesterday. I admit that I was wrong. That being said, he is still a scum sucking bottom dweller that no doubt I will use in the future for enforcement purposes within my neighborhood. Maybe I'll email him a list of violations I want addressed. Keep him occupied for awhile. That is certainly one of my options as a tax paying member of the community. Todays mission should I choose to accept it, Operation Clean Cars. Heat dries out the leather so they need some moisturizing, exteriors need detailing and two engine compartments are due for attention. No way I'll get that all done. It's too hot to even try. Guess I'll try for the wash, detail spray, wipe the leather and clean the windows. That should keep me busy enough. I hope when I'm done I have enough energy left to go for a ride. Have a good one.

Good Morning CGs!

Got a haircut and a shave and I feel like a new man. Back to work today which isn't so thrilling, but it's better than being homeless. Got some more chores done yesterday including fixing the baby's bed and hanging the shelves downstairs for the bar. They look really good. I'll take pictures later. I procrastinated so long because I'm lazy and I needed to get high quality anchors for the drywall since it will be heavy. I ended up finding some nice anchors that hold 100 lbs each. Overkill? Yes. But for $10 I don't care. I don't want shelves full of booze falling down in the middle of the night.

New chip in the car is running great. Seems to have more SOP power than the last one. I think Mick leaned it out a bit so I'm getting better combustion. Maybe I'm just nuts and it's all in my mind. But I'm happy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

That's what I would do! Find every person walking their dog who doesn't clean up the poop. I hate that!

Howdy! The week is flying by at a pretty good clip - I haven't accomplished diddly-squat. I did get in a pretty good nap yesterday, so that probably counts for something.

Have a good one!

Back to work today! Thank God I don't have to go into town today!! Three days of Downtown Washington D.C. in the summer is enough for me. It neat and all being there, but you can keep the traffic, metro system, and the people that go with that.

Three more days to say I'm in my forties..
Hopefully I'll be able to get to work on my car this weekend and keep my mind off not being in my 40s anymore!I can't believe it will take until I'm in my fifties to get my car fixed either!!
So for all you guys that are already there, I will be joining you soon and I know you say it aint so bad, therefore I will take it like a man and step forward through the door! But... I may not go willingly!

Hope you all have a good day!

No crawling around on a roof for me today......I've got some work in the shop to do and I need to go hang a couple of fans for a neighbor. After the wife gets off work today we are headed for a long weekend in KC visiting the two daughters there and their families.

My wife wants some casino time this afternoon and we have been compt with a free meal and wine. Sounds good! Meals are great! they have a huge buffet with prime rib, steak, shrimp and vegan stuff.
Later on today I need to detail the engine bay of the 87.

Have a great day guys.

Here is a quick quiz to test if you have OCD.

Question 1: Do you own a Corvette?

Question 2: Do you belong to a Corvette Forum?

If you anwered yes to these 2 questions there is a 99.9% chance that you have OCD. At this time there is no known cure but fotunately we have a large support group.

Yea, sounds good, like the free, $20.00 beers I get.
Damn shame that it takes me 4 minutes to get to the closest casino.

Headed to the shop to attack the C4 seat upholstry again.

It's warm here but my a/c doesn't kick on until 3 in the afternoon. The garage stays very cool until about that time.

Just went down and closed the garage doors, the temperature in the shop is 69*, good place to hang out this morning. The humidity's up as usual in the a.m. to 26%. That will drop to about 17% in a couple of hours.

I might not even go outside today.

Coolio, my Cooper Zeon 2XS tires showed up today. They look to be a good bit wider than the Firehawks.

What's a "free beverage area" ?

Here it's from the north door to the south door, east door to west door.

Ya know, most all those slots have electronic connectors that I speced in. Wish I was still getting commission on them.

The slot manufacturer here has a million sq.ft of mfg. and engineering floor space.

Buffet's for lunch make me nappy.

They have free Coke beverages, coffee and ice water. At midnight on Sundays they have a free breakfast buffet, bagels coffee, cream cheese, eggs and muffins. All free! Not a lot of people on a Sunday night @ 11:59. Pokagen Indian tribe owns three Casinos in the area. Look it up Four Winns Casino .com. One of my former students works there and all their upgrades are done by a firm in Nevada.

You know nothing in life is really free. You pay for it one way or the other. We have the free beverage center here too at Miccosoukee Gaming. No free breakfast but free steak ond lobster tail on your birthday. The least they can do if I'm gonna "donate" a couple of hundred dollars at the slot machine is give me a "free" drink or two.
